Week Four: September Recovery Month “30 For 30” Classes Sept. 22 To 28

Mt. Airy Lavender Farm
This class is our last opportunity to join us for a session outside. The beautiful lavender farm in Coatesville, PA will welcome TYP team members Brianne Murphy and Colleen Devirgiliis to lead the class on Thursday, Sept. 26 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Looking forward to a nice night of weather, the class will take place in a field, and in case of rain, the class will move to the barn.
INSPIRING WORDS FROM TYP RECOVERY INSTRUCTORS AND PARTICIPANTS
“Learning how to deliver trauma-sensitive yoga through and for TYP has been life changing for me as a teacher and a student. Witnessing someone beginning to make choices for themselves in their own practice is what affirms my belief that if given the opportunity, we all have the ability as well as the right, to heal ourselves through this practice.”
— Emily Dougherty, TYP Recovery Instructor
“Coming to yoga is a mid-week destress and a way to find serenity through the chaos.”
— Megan, TYP Yoga for Recovery participant
“Being able to share meditation, breath work, and asanas with men in early recovery has been a divine gift to me. Introducing a new and powerful tool to aid their awareness of their true self has been a profound blessing for me.”
— Barney, TYP Recovery Instructor
“I enjoy doing yoga because it makes me aware of my breathing. It relaxes me and keeps me in a good mood.”
— TYP Yoga for Recovery participant
“Our yoga class gives me a time to reflect on my Recovery and get in touch with my inner self.”
— TYP Yoga for Recovery participant
